Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost of a professional headshot?

We have a few different options depending on what you want.

You can come into the studio, there is a session fee of $150 then it is $100 per final image.  Or we can bring our studio setup to you or photograph environmentally at your home, office, location.  That is $275 for the location fee then it is an additional $100 per final image.

During the session you are not limited to how many outfits or backgrounds that you want.

Can I add a group portrait onto my session?

Yes, it is easier to do group portraits if you schedule the session at your location.  In the intake form please let us know if you want a group portrait and how many people that you anticpate.

If you want the group portrait done at the studio please note that we can photograph about 5 people or we can do a digital composite.

Is it possible to do multiple locations during my photoshoot?

Yes we can go to your location to do the shoot, and we can do it at the studio.  Please specify in the intake form

Do I own the copyright to the images that are professionally taken?

There is a common misunderstanding about licensing and copyright in the professional photography world.  We license you to use the image internationally for perpetuity but we do retain the copyright.  It basically means that we can use the image on our website to show examples of our work.

If you don’t want us to use your image on our website no problem, just let us know.

What is business lifestyle images and can I add that to my order?

Business lifestyle images, are basically people at work, in meetings, at computer, at customer touch points, handshakes.

Yes you can add this to your order, you can do that in the intake form.

Can you match the brand standards and image guidelines, or match images that I need to mimic for my business website?

Yes we can do that.  A lot of times corporate will provide an “image stylesheet” for photographers that is given to photographers so they can match the style of previous images to be taken.  If you are the beginning of the process of doing  a large group of people be sure to ask your photographer to create an “ image stylesheet” so photographers in other markets can easily match the style of the images.
